Main Settings Of A Midsummer Night’s Dream

The play is set in Ancient Greece, with elements of renaissance England. The main settings featured in the play are Athens and the forest outside its walls. A Midsummer Night’s Dream starts and finishes at “the Palace of Theseus”.

Act 1: Scene 2 – Peter Quince’s House.

Act 2: Scene 1 – A Wood near Athens.

Act 2: Scene 2 – Another Part of The Woods.

Act 3: Scene 1 – The Same Part Of The Woods.

Act 3: Scene 2 - Another Part of The Wood.

Act 4: Scene 1 - The Same Part Of The Wood.

Act 4: Scene 2 – Peter Quince’s House in Athens.

Act 5: Scene 1 – The Royal Palace in Athens.
